This study explores the experience of disabled people in Lancashire from the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender; black minority and ethnic; and gypsy, Roma, and traveller communities. The project highlights specific issues for each of these communities that restrict access to community services and resources, and subsequently makes a number of recommendations based on these. The results will also be used to informed Disability Rights Watch UK, an alliance that monitors potential abuses of the human rights of disabled people across the UK.
