Consultation responses
The NHS White Paper, 'Equity and Excellence: Liberating the NHS', signalled major changes to health services which are likely to influence the implementation of race equality. The Government has since conducted a number of consultations and listening exercises on proposed reforms. As a Department of Health Strategic Partner, the Race Equality Foundation has actively engaged with this process to facilitate communication between the DH and the black and minority ethnic voluntary sector. This section provides access to both official documents proposing change and the Race Equality Foundation’s consultation responses.
