Zahira Latif

Zahira Latif completed a qualitative study exploring the experiences of South Asian patients with Inflammatory Bowel Disease, as part of a research team at the Social Policy Unit at the University of York. She has previously conducted research with pregnant migrant women to understand their experiences of maternal services in the West Midlands. She is currently a Visiting Lecturer at the University of Wolverhampton in Sociology and Social Policy and has previously lectured at Aston University. She is currently a doctoral researcher at the University of Birmingham where she is researching British Azad Kashmiri Muslim women's experiences of marital abuse.
